of 1.67 Cpk on a new product.

product resulting in $300,000 annual labor
savings and the eliminating of a high worker's
compensation problem.

simple conveyors and cylinders, resulting in $150,000
annual labor savings.

consisting of a cylinder, clamp, and motor
resulting in $50,000 annual labor savings.
- Effectively reduced changeover time from four
hours to 15 minutes at no cost, resulting in over
$13,000 annual savings.
- Extensive use of Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and
creation of Excel macros for managing data,
entering data on and printing forms, and tracking
project timing resulting in better tracking of
budgets and timing, and reduced effort of
paperwork.

- Project Leader for a major launch of Transmission
housings.
- Selected to manage a simultaneous engineering
team that successfully coordinated functional,
machining, and casting parameters.
- Key member of a team that developed a method of
measuring and recording visible porosity that the
customer has since proposed as it's corporate
standard.
- Successfully installed a production line
including 12 flexible horizontal machining
centers, two rail guided vehicles, six vertical
machining centers, two leak testers, and a
palletized coordinate measuring machine. All
machines surpassed SPC requirements of 1.33 Cpk,
and launch was completed ahead of customer
deadlines.
- Received a merit bonus for extra effort put forth
in the launch of a transmission housing line.
- Corporate Manufacturing Tool Engineer -
1990 to 1992
- Project Engineer for two product line launches
and three existing product lines.
- Doubled production rates for the Saturn cylinder
liner by adding additional equipment. Project
used teamwork for acceptance and installation of
equipment, process optimization, and full
customer approval.
- Effectively led team which processed, bought and
installed equipment, and trained operators for a
new production line. Worked with the customer
through a Product Development Team finalizing
casting dimensions and final part print
dimensions.

- Cooperative Engineer
- Manufacturing engineer on an assembly and
machining cell, accepting and installing new
equipment, implementing and maintaining computer
systems, drawing plant layouts, creating and
updating CAD drawings.

rotor profile on company's SuperCharger.

troubleshooting problems on the engineering
